This simple scanner uses a high powered Par 56 lamp which produces a simple beam of light which can scan from side to side. When used in pairs they can create the crossing of beams similar to the 20 Century Fox Film opening sequence. The beams can be enhanced with the use of either Haze or smoke machine.
